Inside the Gardens Interactive Summer Game Fest Tea Party
We hosted a secret teahouse LAN party during Summer Game Fest in LA this past weekend where we invited a select group of friends, investors and potential publishing partners to play our still-unannounced debut game.

While we've been gathering feedback through remote Friends & Family playtests for a while, this was our first time demoing our game in-person. Frankly, we weren't sure how many people would show up on one of the games industry's busiest weekends to a teahouse across town where we'd have them take off their shoes, sit on the floor and drink non-alcoholic tea while playing an unannounced video game that's still in pre-production.

Folks showed up, though -- so many that we couldn't fit everyone in for a demo, so we had people gathering around to watch others play. The enthusiastic response to both the event and the game we've been building together was incredibly heartening, and bolstered our team's confidence that we're making something special.
We couldn't have done this without the support of event organizer Cristina Amaya and her amazing team, or the Tea at Shiloh staff who were so down to let us fill their beautiful teahouse with computers and gaming peripherals.

We're still a ways out from sharing more details about what we're making. Watch this space and follow us on our socials and our Steam developer page for the latest!
